The Perry Slingsby Triton XLS ROV is a high-performance, 150 HP work-class remotely operated vehicle, designed for deepwater operations with a depth rating of up to 3050 meters. The ROV is paired with a Perry Slingsby XL TMS (Tether Management System), identified as TMS ID 44, supporting a 340m Nexans SCV 35mm tether. The system is complemented by a Deep-down Inc. A-frame Launch and Recovery System (LARS) with a 15,000 kg Safe Working Load (SWL), and a hydraulic winch capable of pulling a maximum of 12,000 kg. The ROV’s umbilical is the Nexans D-7689 type, with a length of approximately 4,200 meters, ensuring optimal performance for long-range operations. This setup is ideal for a variety of subsea tasks, including inspection, maintenance, and intervention at depths beyond 3000 meters.
Owners advised us that there is no T4 with this system. It also may be worth getting a new control system. Owners can get the control system completed but it would be an additional cost of around US$200K to do this.
