This unit is in Gulf of Mexico it is U.S. Flagged.
The unit must be tethered to land and/or pierside as required by U.S.C.G. Therefore, to work in US coastal waters, the barge must be affixed to shore and shore based utilities.
This could be as simple as a fresh water supply and cable anchors, but that is what it will take.

The main generator engines are two (2) John Deere diesel engines model 60904F485, which are electrically started, air-cooled and dry exhaust.
These engines are fitted with Magna Plus 275 Kw generators manufactured by Marathon Electric and are used for the electrical power for the barge.
These generators are mounted on top of the after main quarters section in self contained metal units with louvered ends for air circulation.
There is a Redfox RF 4000 wastewater treatment system located below deck in the machinery room as well as a Key-Tech water treatment system.
The machinery space is also fitted with a chiller system for the quarters and hot water system. All machinery appears to be well maintained and in good working order.
The barge carries fuel in a tank located in the forepeak and has a total capacity of 15,000 US gallons.
The fuel tank is marked for gauging and is filled from on deck, vented and marked.
There is a Hutchison-Hayes model HH-219 fuel oil centrifuge located on the bulkhead aft of the fuel tank.
This is an all welded steel barge constructed of plate steel and internal angle framing.
The hull plate is reported to be 7/16” and the deck plating is reported to be 3/8”. The internal hull stiffeners are various size angles on various centers.
They range from 24” x 4” angles on the transverse to 6” x 4” on the vertical side shell. The deck longitudinal are 4” x 6” angles and the side shell horizontal frames are 16” x 5” angles.
The deep side shell frames are 18” x 4” angles. The barge was built for Navy service and all welding appears to be well done.
The hull is in all ways seaworthy and tight.
The barge is fitted with 25 double berthing rooms total and 10 single berthing rooms total.
All rooms are fitted with bunks equal to the number of occupants and storage lockers for personal items.
These berths are fitted with tile flooring and drop ceiling tiles. Each bunk is fitted with individual bunk lights and storage drawers.
The total berthing capacity is 60 persons.
The vessel is fitted with a one (1) bed hospital room located away from other cabins and isolated from the crew.
There are four (4) heads located throughout the barge.
Two located on the main deck level with shower stalls, urinals, and washbasins.
The head located below the main deck level is fitted with a shower stall, commode and wash basin.
There is also heads located in the passageway leading aft from the galley and contains a male & female head fitted with commode and wash basin.
The barge is also fitted with a “Dry Room” on the after end of the main deck cabin with areas for clothes hanging and changing.
BELOW DECK ACCOMMODATIONS:
The vessel is fitted below the main deck of the barge and aft of the machinery room a full theater room, game room and exercise facility.
The theater is fitted with seating of household quality sofa and chairs, big screen TV fitted with satellite service and surround sound system.
This area is also fitted with one of the heads onboard the vessel.
The game room area is aft of the theater room and contains a big screen TV, pool tables, foosball tables and air hockey table.
To the starboard side of the game room is a laundry room fitted with four (4) washers and dryers.
There is also an exercise room fitted with exercise equipment on the port side. These areas are separated from the machinery space by large rolling watertight doors.
The vessel is fitted with a full commercial galley on the main deck level forward.
The galley is on the starboard side and fitted with all commercial stainless steel galley equipment including but not limited to deep fryers, electric ovens/stovetops, warming tables, refrigerator/freezers, stainless steel sinks, food prep washbasins, mixers and chillers for food preparation.
The galley is fitted with five tables seating a total of 50 persons. There is also a large TV mounted on the outboard bulkhead of the galley.
The galley also has a large pantry and storage for pots, pans and dry goods.
